Candidates to become Ubizfree licensed contractors require an aptitude for learning new technical and creative skills and they need to be service and people oriented. They will have a will-do attitude and have good communications skills.
Training starts with an intensive one-week induction at Milton Park, Oxfordshire. This is followed by a period in the field working with the business community, while supported by a distance-training manager. This in turn is followed by more classroom sessions.
Training fees are £2,700 including VAT per candidate, which are payable in advance. The fees cover the cost of a five-day induction including accommodation at the De Vere training centre, Oxfordshire, plus six one day per month secessions at the Milton Park Innovation Centre, Oxfordshire.
Distance training goes on after the initial period and licensed contractors continue to meet either monthly or bi-monthly for debriefing seminars. In these sessions they are able to share experiences with other licensed contractors and are updated with new technical and creative developments.
Once trained licensed contractors are able to operate on behalf of their business clients. They are able to manage multi-featured web shops on behalf of local or national businesses and are able to build relations between businesses and community members.
